Thank you for sharing this — I can’t imagine how hard that must have been to write, especially given the current climate.

I think I was lucky in that although my pre-transition partner was often very negative about trans people I never internalised it.

I won’t say it was easy, but I got there eventually. It’s now been over 15 years since I transitioned, and I couldn’t be happier. :)
